Japan Redux

Posted On By Rob

Here are some photos from our recent trip to Tokyo and Hokkaido.  The first two photos are of buildings situated inside the grand Imperial palace walls, where the castle of Edo once stood hundreds of years ago.  Both buildings survive the castle, and date from he Shogunate period in Japanese history.

The third photo is of me (Rob) amongst the wave of locals crossing a busy street in downtown Shinjuku, in Tokyo at night.  The final photo is a black and white rendering of Mount Yotei, opposite the Mountain of Niseko-Annupuri, the mountain is actually a dormant volcano, and nicknamed ‘mini fuji’ by locals.
