The Pantheon by twilight
Ah, Roma! In our first day ashore we managed to canvas so many amazing attractions. Our day started with a guided tour of the Vatican Museum, followed by the Sistine Chapel, St Peters Basilica and finally St Peter’s square.

Once we had checked into our lovely hotel (Hotel Artorius – Via del Boschetto 13, 00184 Rome, Italy)
, we visited the following, on foot!
All I can say right now is: "breathtaking!!"

Did you climb to the top of St Peters ? The view from there is fantastic.
Your photos are great. I reckon the Pantheon is my favourite location in Rome.

Hi Guys,
Unfortunately we didn’t go to the top of St Peter’s (long queue, 40’C heat was a factor also) but we did climb Castel Sant Angelo which is a little further away, but the views from there were pretty impressive.
Rome was great, easy to walk, easy to catch the Metro and the food was superb. The sites/attractions were out of this world (e.g. the Forum/Palatine Hill). I’ve got more entries to write..
The heat was the only bad thing really.. Oh, and way too many people at the Trevi Fountain, but you ought to expect that I guess.
