Hi Everyone,
Just a short update to let you know how things have been going. We had a massive thunderstorm here this afternoon, it literally blacked out the sky and made the day turn into night. We had it hit around a quarter to three in the afternoon and it had cleared by about three thirty. I’ve taken pictures and will post later.
The weekend was interesting. On Friday I was a bit under the weather, and it continued over the weekend. Yesterday we spent most of the day at home taking the kids out to do various fun things like rollerblading.
We’ve had some varying weather of late – 22’C days mixed with rain and thunder. It’s quite uniquely random. With the exception of being a bit sick, and a bit worn down, everything else is going well. There is still an excellent variety of food and culture and there’s still more to explore.
Having said all that, I’m starting to look very much forward to returning home on Friday. Toni and I haven’t been apart this long since we first met back in 1997, and it is really starting to be difficult to cope with.
