Hi Everyone,
Enjoying a cultural treat in HangZhou, which is south west from Shanghai. Although it is more of a regional centre, the greater region is home to a population of around 6 million people. Although the population is large, it is well managed and distributed intelligently such that you may be excused for assuming the city has a much smaller population.
It’s been fun riding around town on an electric pushbike and eating some amazing Hunan and local cuisine. The town has so much to offer and is easily navigatable by foot or by bike (there are dedicated bike lanes). We spent the afternoon in the Tech Market picking up some stuff – it’s an amazing wall-to-wall fiesta of computer parts and accessories, and with the amazing exchange rate ($1 AUD = 6 RMB (Yuan))!
I’ll post some more photos when I can. Stay tuned for more posts!
Always..R
