This year we welcomed in the new year from the front of our new place. From here we had a decent vantage point to observe the new year’s fireworks which were launched from the city.
Photos were taken on the Olympus E-620 with a 50-150mm telephoto lens (at 150mm) mounted on my old trusty tripod.
The obstruction at the bottom right of the frame is actually a nearby hill, not a rooftop as I thought at the time.
