UNESCO Sites – Aussie Travelling

Over the past decade or so, we have been lucky enough to visit several sites listed as world heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Each site is listed due to some unique and important aspect of world heritage that the site represents, be it scientific (geological, architectural), cultural (artistic, religious, social) or historical (locations of importance in human history).
