Our last full day in the Victorian alps.
We had another fairly disastrous night with the heavy gale force winds, and it meant a late wakeup in the morning. Unperturbed, we decided to continue with our plans. After a late in-chalet breakfast, and some extended Minecraft on the Xbox, we split from Jake and Damian, who went off and borrowed mountain bikes from the main Wyndham building. Austin, Toni and I went on what turned out to be a 5km+ long bush walk through the northern side of the Alpine highway.
We retraced out steps from the previous day, but headed west closer to Hotham.
Once we returned, roughly an hour and twenty minutes later, Jake and Damian were at the park; Toni headed home with Austin. I led the kids back to reception to drop off the bikes and we all met up back at the chalet for a late-ish lunch.
Another xbox session followed as a precursor build up to dinner on site up at Elements restaurant in the Wyndham reception building.\
After dinner, we returned to the chalet and started packing in preparation for our pending departure the next day.
