A Canberra Affair

Posted On By Rob

Hello all.  Well, it’s been a fairly pedestrian time since I last updated the site.  We’ve travelled up to Sydney to visit Jake’s great grand parents, we’ve participated in a mega garage sale and my work continues to motor along.

We’re enjoying the Canberra Spring, the weather is unpredictable at the best of times, but a good sunny clean Canberra Spring day is so beautiful, it’s possibly the best in the world.  We’re easing into the Christmas run, which will be Jake’s first.  He will be joined by his newly minted cousin Oscar, who was born in late September.

Family are doing well, we get together on a fairly regular basis.  Last month Paul and Fiona visited, and we had a good time eating out in Civic or joining Max and Asmine (work colleagues) for dinner at the Green Herring restaurant in Gold Creek.  We also did a bit of exploration of the local winery scene, paying a long overdue visit to Clonakilla in Murrumbateman and Lark Hill near Bungendore.

Not much else to add at the moment, stay tuned for the December fun.

Best, R
