Our apartment and local area

Here are some pictures of the place we are staying in:

Here’s a picture of our bedroom, our little sanctuary from the rest of the world. 
The second picture shows the view from the room, it’s not bad, is it?

The third is a photo of our new heater (purchased last week) which has been doing an outstanding job of heating the place throughout the weird low temperatures.

Below, you can see a picture of the finished kitchen – a beaut orange colour – and yes, the shelves are rather high up.

Now, when I talk about streets, the map below will help you get an idea about where things are in relation to each other.  Wenyi lu is “one road”, Wener lu is “two road” and Wensan lu is “three road”.  They are major east-west roads and, therefore, the basis for all our navigation in the local area.  Wu Mart is located north from us on Wenyi lu and the Century Mart is west of us on Wener Lu.  The main stadium is to our south towards the lake.  Our apartment is facing south west, which is a pretty good aspect.
