All’s well

Well, it’s been a little while since my last update, so I thought I’d write a little bit about what has been keeping us busy these past few weeks.

Unfortunately, we had a bit of a down weekend, this weekend past.  Both Toni and I have been a bit sick of late (just generally, fighting coughs and fatigue) so we didn’t spend much time out of the apartment 🙁

We’ve had a number of recent outings with friends, this is in the form of sightseeing (such as historical  Confucius school, Wansong Academy) or trivia at the Vineyard (an ex-pat optimized location) or haunting a local KTV (Karaoke place) with a bunch of friends.

This evening I bought some new clothes, and we’ve been lucky enough to eat out at some very nice restaurants lately including French restaurant Provence (last Monday night).

Generally speaking, most of our budget tends to go towards food – primarily the more pricey western foods which we make at home.  With our recent acquisition of a bench top convection oven, we’re able to make a lot more interesting dishes.
